Lomas Hall was presented to the village of Stannington in 1955 by Miss Flora Lomas, today the hall is managed by a group of voluntary committee members made up of local people.

The volunteers work together to ensure the Lomas Hall is a superb facility for the local community to use.

The committee has various functions but the main aim is to ensure that the hall is maintained to a good standard and there are sufficient funds to enable them to do this.

The committee meets every third Wednesday of the month in the Hall. The AGM is held every March.
